- What time should we check-in at?
Please come at least forty-five (45) minutes prior to activity departure time. - How old do you have to be to drive a snowmobile?
Sixteen (16) years old to operate a snowmobile. Individuals sixteen (16) and seventeen (17) years of age holding a valid drivers license in your possession can operate a snowmobile only when accompanied by their parent. NO EXCEPTIONS! You must be Eighteen (18) to carry a passenger. - How old do you have to be to go Snowmobiling?
We suggest four (4) years or older. - How many people can ride on ONE snowmobile?
Two (2) people maximum. (No matter how old) - What do I need to bring?
Each customer must bring: Goggles, gloves, face mask or scarf, driver’s license, and credit card. Some items are for sale on site. - How fast can you go on your trails?
25-35 mph – tours will only go as fast as the slowest person in the group. - How many miles of groomed trail does Grand Adventures have?
We have over 30 miles of groomed trail and over 100 miles of single-track trails in Winter Park. We have over 80 miles of groomed trails and 5 massive play areas in Grand Lake. - Can a guide carry a customer on the back of their snowmobile?
Yes, $55 passinger charge for this service. - Are reservations needed?
Yes, we recommend that you make reservations. Walk-ins are welcome. - Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, your cancellation must be made 48hrs in advance. For groups of 10+, 72hrs in advance. - Do you carry insurance for the customer to buy?
No, we do not offer insurance. You are responsible for your damages. Be careful! Ride safely and do not exceed your ability to control the snowmobile. - Do you take a damage deposit?
Yes. Damage deposits are required on all snowmobiles in the form of a major credit card (Not a Debit Card), MasterCard, Visa or Discover. All customers are responsible for damage to their equipment and must be prepared to have a minimum of $500.00 per snowmobile authorization placed on your credit card when you check-in. This will only cover any damages up to $500; you are responsible for ALL damages up to the value of the snowmobile. Also, customers will be responsible for any costs incurred in the retrieval of snowmobiles which are left on the trail for “non-mechanical” reasons. (ie: customers who become involved in accidents rendering their snowmobile inoperable; “unguided” renters who become stuck or run or run out of gas). - Do you offer Dog Sled Rides?
